The start of the high winds in Ramsgate early that morning.
These pictures were taken midday with the rainbow in Margate, and the sun reflecting off the cliffs at Joes Bay.
These three pictures were in Broadstairs when the winds become stong again.

Panoramic shots of the scenic railway after the event.
The investigation team are looking through sections of the damaged site to find the cause that started the fire. I noticed a CCTV camera located near by looking down onto the site, but I bet it wasn’t working at the time.

The scenic Railway was built in 1920 and was part of the Dreamland Margate theme park.
7th April 2008
The blaze started this afternoon and well alight by 5pm with fire crews fighting to save the graded II listed structure. This is believed to be the oldest rollercoaster in the world and I would say it’s a sad ending to this Railway.
